Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These terms and conditions apply to all studio rental, equipment hire, and production services provided by Picturepool Studios Kft. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms.
Booking and Cancellation
A valid booking must be made in writing via SMS (+36 30 325 0165) or email (studio@picturepoolstudios.com). We will send a written confirmation upon receipt. The Lessor is not liable for any errors arising from orders received in non-written form. Cancellation more than 14 days before the booked date: no charge. Cancellation between 14 and 4 days before: 50% of the booking fee (minimum 60,000 HUF + VAT). Cancellation within 72 hours: 100% of the booking fee. Cancellations are accepted in writing only. In the event of mechanical failure, power outage, strike, or similar circumstances beyond our control, the Studio is released from all liability. We will, of course, help find an alternative solution and aim to compensate for the lost booking.
Conditional Booking
We hold the time slot as long as no other client requests the same date. If another inquiry comes in, we will contact the conditionally booked client immediately via the provided contact details. If the client decides to confirm a firm booking, we ask for written confirmation within two hours of notification. If the client is unreachable after four hours, the conditional booking will be cancelled. A firm booking cannot be cancelled.
Hourly Rates
The Studio is billed by the hour. The booked hours will be invoiced even if the work finishes earlier than planned. Every started hour is billable until the premises are vacated for the next booking. Minimum rental period: 4 hours. Set construction on the day before filming and dismantling on the day after filming receive a 40% discount on the studio rental fee. Access to the studio is available 10 minutes before the booked start time.
Extreme Use
Certain activities require special handling and prior notice (e.g., paint, artificial snow, rain machines, water, smoke, etc.). Please inform us in advance.
Fire and Safety
The Renter is responsible for ensuring compliance with fire and safety regulations. The Studio cannot accept liability for enforcement. Inherent hazards of the studio include electric shock, slipping, ladders, and working at height.
Minors
Minors may only be present in the Studio under constant parental supervision or under the permanent supervision of a contracting agency. Ensuring compliance is the Renter's responsibility.
Liability
The Renter assumes responsibility for their staff, rented equipment, and any damage caused to the premises.
Rooftop
The rooftop is available for use. Every person on the rooftop must sign a liability waiver. To protect the rooftop surface, high-heeled shoes are not permitted. We also aim to minimise the crew on the rooftop, as there is no guardrail system due to the panoramic view.
Infinity Wall
The Studio's base colour is white, but repainting is available upon request. If the production chooses to repaint, the cost of repainting back to white is borne by the Renter. Please request a quote from us for repainting. When using fabric backdrops, cleaning costs for soiled fabrics are borne by the Renter.

If you have not yet been in touch, please contact us and we will provide our rental rates, room and equipment pricing, and rooftop usage details on request.
